Service Opportunity Details: Y.O.U. has a number of one-time opportunities for caring volunteers to support our efforts and our youth. Opportunities may include wrapping and collecting gifts for our Holiday Gift Drive, leading a STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) activity for youth in our MakerSpace program, or preparing our Learning Garden for the Spring.
Location: Evanston
Volunteer Ages: Families with teens, Teens, Young adults, Adults, Groups
Frequency: Periodic
Frequency Details: Volunteers are expected to commit to at least one event or one day of a project (no more than 8 hours each). These projects occur approximately quarterly (spring, summer, fall, winter). Volunteer opportunities in the MakerSpace are on a case-by-case basis, and would be between a 2 and 4 hour commitment during after-schoool and weekend hours.
