The half-day workshops draw 25-50 participants from across multiple schools, many of whom reside in communities confronting high unemployment and low educational attainment. Volunteers will assist at these events by welcoming and ushering participants between activities, co-facilitating workshops (curriculum provided by Youth Guidance), and assisting with career panels, mock-interviews, and resume review. This opportunity is best for groups of adults who are comfortable with coaching and encouraging youth, as well as those who are eager to share about their own educational or professional journey.
