Service Opportunity Details: Seeds of Service is a community gardening project that AmeriCorps Project YES! hosts every year in Humbolt Park with 7-9 community gardens. The goal is to raise awareness about the importance of community gardening. Volunteers will weed, mulch, build garden beds, and more to get the gardens ready for planting season.

Location: Chicago-Humboldt Park

Volunteer Ages: Families with young children, Families with teens, Teens, Young adults, Adults, Groups

Frequency: One-time

Frequency Details: Typically a Saturday in May
