Types of Help Needed: Teaching, Tutoring, Coaching, and Mentoring

Service Opportunity Details: Volunteers needed for both after school and evening tutoring. Tutor-mentors are matched in a one-on-one relationship with students in grades K-12. Tutor-mentors receive an orientation and participate in on-going training, team-building and support activities.

Location: Chicago-Rogers Park

Volunteer Ages: Teens, Young Adults, Adults

Frequency: On-going

Frequency Details: During academic year, tutor-mentors meet with students once a week for 90 minutes (Mon through Thurs) between 6:30 and 8:30 pm. Afternoon tutor-mentors work with students once or twice a week between 4 and 6 p.m. for 45 minutes.
