Types of Help Needed: Teaching, Tutoring, Coaching and Mentoring Activities with Agency Clients

Service Opportunity Details: “Classroom Readings: Assist in story time in one of the classrooms. Readings occur throughout different times during the day which makes it feasible to fit into busy schedules. Teacher-Aid: Lend a helping hand to teachers in the classroom by facilitating learning,
arts and crafts, nap/lunch time, and various activities that occur during the day.”

Location: Chicago-Englewood

Volunteer Ages: Young Adults Adults

Frequency: One-time On-going Periodic

Frequency Details: Volunteers would have the option to help out in our classrooms at whatever frequency level they are able to commit. Volunteer opportunities would be available Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM.

Other Information: On-going or Periodic volunteers would need to submit to a background check and complete a medical exam including a TB test as require by State licensing of child care centers. This would not be required for a one-time volunteer activity.
