Service Opportunity Details: Casa Central’s School Age Program is an after school program for elementary school students ages 5-13 which provides the children recreation, homework help, and dinner. The program runs from 3:00pm- 6:00pm Monday-Friday. The agency needs volunteers who are consistently available during that time to help the students with homework, particularly in areas where students are struggling academically. Volunteers are also useful for filling the gaps of teacher absences and being a positive role model.

Location: Chicago-Humboldt Park

Volunteer Ages: Young Adults Adults Groups

Frequency: On-going

Frequency Details: 4:00pm-6:00pm is the best time to come for tutoring. We encourage weekly attendance but it is not required.
