Service Opportunity Details: The day would begin with Motivations, Cara’s unique morning activity, from 8:25-9:00 a.m. followed by a quick tour of Cara’s downtown campus. The day would conclude with the group activity, typically ending by noon.

Opportunity Details: The agency provides basic education classes to adults to help develop skills in a variety of areas (writing, reading, math, GED preparation).  The tutor would work over time with an adult learner.

Location: Chicago-Humboldt Park

Frequency: On-going

Frequency Details: 8-week sessions with classes held 12 hours per week.Tutors do not need to commit  every day but do need to make regular commitments during the 8-week session.

Adaptive Adventures


Opportunity Details: Volunteers needed to help with event organization: register and help participants.  If wanted, volunteers can train to assist participants in specific programs such as biking, skiing, rock climbing.
