Church Building, Main Floor
Women’s apparel fills the first floor of the Main Church Building.

French Room: Designer clothing, shoes, plus other fine clothing such as furs, formal wear, wedding dresses, and cashmere sweaters.

Jewelry: Fine and costume jewelry for adults and children.

Women’s: Women’s clothing from small to plus sizes, including casual and dress pants, shirts, blouses, tees, suits, dresses, lingerie, sweaters, exercise, maternity wear, jackets, and coats.

Check Room: Safeguard your purchases and free your hands for more shopping by using the free Check Room in the sanctuary.

Church Building, Basement
Look in the church basement for things to give as gifts, to read, or to outfit your home.

Brand New: Yes, Kenilworth Union Church’s Rummage Sale has lots of brand new items of all types, perfect for gifting. The department has a little bit of everything. You’ll be surprised at what you’ll find—from women’s clothes with tags still on to never-opened toys.

Books: Books for babies, toddlers, early readers, teens, and adults, from cookbooks, mysteries, and fiction to biographies, and classics.

China and Glass: Everyday dishes, glasses, barware, bowls, platters, vases, votives, Pyrex, mugs, punch bowls, cookie jars, Christmas dishes and glasses, bric-a-brac.

Decorative Accessories: Fun items for every style—decorative items and ornaments for Christmas and other holidays, faux flowers, small frames, tchotchkes, whimsical items, school and office supplies, candles, candle holders, wreaths of all kinds, small art pictures, stationery, greeting cards, game cards, photo albums, decorative paper, wood and ceramic boxes, clocks, paper plates, napkins, small mirrors, fancy baskets.

Housewares: Household basics, from pots and pans to kitchen utensils, small appliances, bake ware, storage containers, small hardware items, wine racks, salad bowls, baking molds, vacuum cleaners, baskets, plastic dishes and glasses, kitchen and closet organizers.

Linens: Towels, sheets, blankets, throws, napkins, placemats, runners, tablecloths, curtains, drapes, bedspreads, duvets, and duvet covers for dining room, kitchen, bath, bedroom, and dorm room. Also, area rugs, carpets, shower curtains, curtain rods, hooks, decorative drape holders and blinds, craft supplies and kits, sewing supplies (patterns, needles, scissors, tapes, etc.), knitting supplies, scrap and bolt material, doilies and decorative table covers, sleeping bags, bath mats, beach towels, washcloths, decorative pillows and regular bed pillows, outdoor patio pillows.

Treasures: One-of-a-kind collectible and antique items, fine decorative pieces, all kinds of fine crystal (decanters, barware, bowls, vases, dishes, etc.), sterling silver flatware and serving pieces, and Limoges, Haviland, and other fine porcelain and bone china dinnerware and serving pieces.

Church Building, 2-West
The west side of the second floor has plenty to offer.

Men’s Clothing: Men’s casual and dress clothing, tee shirts, sport coats, suits, ties, belts, casual and dress pants, jeans, shorts, athletic apparel, pajamas, socks, underwear and formalwear.

Shoes: Shoes, boots, sandals and flip-flops for men, women, and children. Plenty of choices for casual, dress, outdoors, and sports.

Women’s Accessories: Scarves, purses, hats, billfolds, belts, tote bags, and much more.

Church Building 2-East The second floor of the Church is the place for kids of all ages.

Boys: Casual and special event clothing for boys, size 7 to 20, from jeans and tees to blazers.

Girls: Clothes for teenagers and little girls all in the same place, in a variety of sizes, including teen and super small sizes. Trendy dresses, tops, bottoms, athletic wear, sleepwear, swimsuits, and even designer brands—everything from school outfits to nice dresses to pajamas.

Infants and Toddlers: All kinds of clothing for young children, from basic wear to designer fashion, bathing suits to winter coats—perfect for everyday wear or gifting by grandparents and friends. Department also has accessories, baby equipment, and shoes and socks for infants and toddlers.

Toys, Games and Costumes: Toy trains, trucks, cars and other vehicles, dolls, doll clothing and furniture, toy horses, preschool toys and play sets, kitchens, workbenches, forts, Legos, Duplos, Lincoln Logs, and other building sets. Dollhouses, easels, electronic toys, and learning systems Stuffed animals, collectable characters, small push, and riding toys. Backpacks, lunchboxes, Nerf guns, light sabers, Supersoakers, and other toy weapons. Fantasy play sets, music instruments—Plus, for all ages—costumes, games, puzzles, arts and craft supplies, craft and airplane kits.

Manse
The White Building to the West of the Church (on Warwick Road) is the Manse—the place for electronics and furniture.

Electronics: Anything that needs power, from televisions, radios, computers, laptops, DVD players, video game consoles, and games to fans. Musical instruments, hair dryers, shavers, cameras, printers, monitors, phones, movie cameras, speakers, sound systems, and clocks. Plus all kinds of media: CDs, DVDs, cassette, and VHS tapes.

Furniture: Furniture of all kinds for the dining room, living room, bedrooms, family room, and more. Plus lamps, rugs, dining room sets, couches, bed frames, end tables, coffee tables, desks, bureaus, chairs, and much more. You’ll also find furniture in tents on the lawn.

Tents
In addition to furniture, there are bargains galore in the various tents in the back yard between the Church and the Manse.

Sporting Goods: Bikes, trikes, skates, exercise equipment, and jogging strollers plus all kinds of equipment for all sports, from golf to soccer, lacrosse, hockey, baseball, basketball, plus spectator gear.

Hardware: Manual or electric tools, screws, bolts, latches, paint brushes, rollers, and other hardware items.

Lawn and Garden: Lawn mowers, grills, weed trimmers, pots, planters, hose reels, lawn furniture, and more.

Luggage: Luggage, briefcases, and backpacks.

Pets: Lots of paraphernalia for pets.

Large Toys: Big dollhouses, slides, riding toys, scooters, and other large children’s toys.

The sale starts at 8 a.m. Thursday and Saturday. Savvy shoppers line up hours before then, in one of two lines, no shoppers will be admitted at other entrances:

  • One line starting at the side southwest door of the main church building
