One Big Family

At KUC Youth, we strive to be a faith family that seeks to love God, to love others as ourselves, to make a difference in this world and to live life abundantly.  It is a family in which you can be yourself and be loved for who you are—no matter where you are or where you have been. All youth are welcome, regardless of church affiliation or attendance.

There are youth groups, classes, discussions and special events that help you discover and deepen your Christian faith and lay the foundation for a secure future. There is support to help you see God’s light in the darkness and disappointments of life. There are service opportunities that let you make life better for others.

While this page is under construction, please find all up-to-date youth information on the youth website:

Youth Breakfast

Grade 7–8 +

Join your youth leaders Sundays in the manse from 10:15 to 11:30 a.m. (white house at 417 Warwick) for a delicious breakfast and learn some cool stuff about the Bible.

We just finished a series on Heaven and Earth and talked about what these things truly mean and how they fit into the story of our Christian faith.  Have a peek at the video we based our discussions on:  Heaven and Earth video.

Grades 9–12 +:  IMPACT is the youth group for High Schoolers, where we welcome college students and young adults to come alongside as leaders. We meet roughly twice a month, mostly on Sunday evenings, and at other times for service projects and special events. Each year, IMPACT also runs a mission trip program, with details announced each November and the trip taking place after New Trier’s last day of attendance.

IMPACT Cuba 2018

Registration for this year’s mission trip program, IMPACT Cuba 2018, closed December 31, 2017.  For more information, visit the  IMPACT web page.

Volunteer Service

Grades 9–12 +:  Volunteer Service is an integral part of youth ministry at Kenilworth Union Church and is required for confirmation and for the IMPACT mission trip program.  Check out what opportunities are currently available on our volunteer service page.
