Sunday School

Children and youth are invited to participate in Sunday School at Kenilworth Union Church. Programs run from September to May in coordination with local school calendars.

For those under the age of 3, infant and toddler care is available most Sundays during worship.

Throughout the year, several age groups reach milestones in their Christian education.

An overview of the program is below. You may also view details and additional opportunities by age.

Books Of The Bible

Preschool through First Grade

Children begin Worship for All Ages with their family in the Sanctuary at 9 a.m. before accepting an invitation to process to Children’s Chapel.

Preschool through Eighth Grade

Traditional Sunday School runs during 10:30 a.m. worship during the school year.

Seventh through Twelfth Graders

Smell Bacon? Breakfast Club starts at 10:15 a.m. on Sundays! We meet in the Warwick Manse until 11:30 a.m. Besides breakfast, youth enjoy video-based Bible instruction and discussion. Casual dress and bringing a friend is welcome and encouraged!

Infants, youth, and adults of all ages may receive the sacrament of baptism.
Infants and young children may be brought forward for the sacrament of baptism by parents who are ready, in, and with the Church, to bring up their child in the Christian faith.

Scripture Milestone Third Grade

In this milestone year, third graders learn scripture by heart that they will encounter throughout their lives. The year culminates in the presentation of a personalized Bible during worship.

Confirmation  Ninth Grade

High-school aged students engage in the basics of the Bible with the expectation that they can and will be global Christians in an increasingly diverse religious world.

Choose from two paths:

Centennial Confirmation Program
  • A school-year long classroom program plus Confirmation mini-retreat.
Wilderness Confirmation Program
  • Adventure on an eight-night trip where study takes place outdoors in small teams.
