The Mr Rogers documentary film is extremely timely, touching and thought provoking. Mr Rogers’ real neighborhood was Squirrel Hill where the deadly shootings happened at the Tree of Life Synagogue in Pittsburgh. Mr Rogers is America’s favorite neighbor. The extremely moving film is a celebration of his life before his death in 2003. The film captures how every child mattered and was special and that they were loved. In this time of hatred and divisiveness, Fred Rogers’ message continues to embrace inclusiveness and kindness. He will always be a unique icon in the hearts and minds of people. This documentary is a touching triumphant tribute to Fred Rogers. He was a remarkable man and his story is moving and illuminating. It is a stirring appeal for civility.
