Middle School Youth Group

Middle School Youth Group (MSYG) is open to all 5th and 6th graders and meets on Wednesday afternoons from 5:15 PM to 6:15 PM in the white house at 417 Warwick Avenue.

We have events such as game nights, ice cream parties, service projects such as food preparation for homeless shelters, and discussions about spirituality and issues that youth face as 5th and 6th graders. This is a great opportunity for young people to come together and create a sense of community where they can grow in their faith through strengthening their relationships with one another. MSYG shows kids that church is a place for faith and for fun.

MSYG is open to all 5th and 6th graders regardless of church affiliation, and kids are always welcome to bring a friend with them to youth group activities.

Jr. High Youth Group

Junior High Youth Group (JHYG) is open to all 7th and 8th graders and meets on Wednesday nights from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM. When we get together at 6:30 PM, we have dinner and then enjoy games and meaningful conversations.

We offer events such as game nights, service projects, lock-ins, ski trips, a paintball trip and a mini mission trip.

JHYG is open to all 7th and 8th graders regardless of church affiliation, and kids are always welcome to bring a friend with them to youth group activities.

Senior High Youth Group – Impact

At KUC, our senior high youth group is called “Impact.” Impact is for 9th through 12th graders and meets the first and third Sunday of each month from 7:00 to 8:00 PM. Impact is open to all 9th through 12th graders, regardless of church affiliation, and kids are always welcome to bring a friend with them if they want.

This group focuses on the impact we have on our friends, on our community, and in the world. We do a variety of different service projects throughout the year, including providing meals for the homeless, aid to refugees, and fellowship to the elderly and disabled.

In December, high school students are invited to apply for participation in our summer international mission trip. Please see the Mission Trip page for more information.
