Rev. Dr. Andrew D. Chaney
Senior Minister
Rev. Dr. Andrew Chaney came from First Presbyterian Church in Beaufort, South Carolina, where he spent five years as Senior Minister and Head of Staff. Prior to that call he served churches in South Carolina and Connecticut. Andrew received his Doctor of Ministry from Columbia Theological Seminary; his Master of Divinity from Princeton Theological Seminary; his Master of Library Science from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, Tennessee; and his Bachelor of Arts from Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee.

says Dr. Chaney. "What a privilege to lead this family of faith. The
members' devoted participation in prayers, singing, and service inspires
me daily. They demonstrate a genuine communal joy and trust in God's
love. The generous way that they care for each other and for those in
need is energizing...their kindness is contagious!"
Dr. Chaney and his wife, Christine, have three children, ages 2, 4, and
8.

Rev. Jane B. Lionberger
Jane came to KUC after 5 years as Associate Pastor at Community Presbyterian Church in Lombard, Il. After working at the Evanston Shelter for Battered women and The Lilac Tree, a center that supports women's going through divorce, Jane attended Garrett Evangelical Theological Seminary and was ordained by the Presbyterian Church (USA).

Rev. Sarah Garcia, M. Div.
Sarah arrived at KUC in January of 2007 to become the Associate Minister for Youth and Families. Before coming to KUC, she was a Youth Minister at the Congregational Church of New Canaan, CT. She completed her Masters of Divinity at Yale in 2005 and also created a non-profit organization called Make a Difference through which she organized international service trips for many years. She continues to inspire others to help those in need through the Quest and IMPACT programs that she created here at KUC.

Dr. Gilbert W. Bowen, Minister Emeritus
Dr. Gilbert W. Bowen led the Kenilworth Union Church congregation as Senior Minister for 37 years, 1970-2007. Under his pastoral leadership the church grew significantly and thrived as a family of faith. In recognition of his long and faithful service, the Board of Trustees acknowledged its deep appreciation and gratitude in conferring upon him the honorary title of Minister Emeritus.
Susan R. Bottum, M. A.
Susan holds both an undergraduate and graduate degree in Psychology. Prior to becoming the Director of Children's Ministries in 2005, Susan served as a Kenilworth Union Trustee for six years. In this role, she served as chair of the Children's Ministries committee and on the executive committee for two years.

Lisa Bond
Lisa has a Master's Degree in choral music education and has been active teaching and conducting professionally for 20 years. With the help of an excellent music staff, she leads the many music ensembles of KUC. Lisa and husband Andy have two children, Sarah and Nicholas.
