JOHN W. W. SHERER
Since 1996, John W. W. Sherer has been the organist and Director of Music for the Fourth Presbyterian Church of Chicago. The Morning Choir and Dr. Sherer were in the Columbia TriStar motion picture, "My Best Friend's Wedding", filmed in part at Fourth Presbyterian Church. A native of Xenia, Ohio, Dr. Sherer's received two bachelor's degrees in organ performance and choral music education, from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music. He earned two master's degrees at Yale University, majoring in organ performance and art in religion, and received the Doctor of Musical Arts degree from The Juilliard School. Dr. Sherer has performed numerous recitals throughout the country including several for regional and national organist conventions, and has been hailed by critics as a "terrific musician."

TIMOTHY OLSEN
Timothy Olsen is the Wanda L. Bass Chair of Organ at Oklahoma City University where he serves as assistant professor of organ and university organist. He also teaches in the theory department. Dr. Olsen holds a bachelor of music degree from Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota (1997), a Master of Music degree in Organ performance and literature from the Eastman School of Music (2000), and a doctorate from Eastman (2005). His organ study has been with Sandra Krumholz, Peter Nygaard and David Higgs. Dr. Olsen is the first-prize winner of the 2002 National Young Artists Competition in Organ Performance sponsored by the American Guild of Organists. He has recorded a compact disc on the NAXOS label, and has been featured on Minnesota Public Radio's Pipedreams.
