Music Ministries : Sponsorship
Each church year, the KUC music program is in need of special music
performance sponsors. These sponsorships, which supplement funding provided via KUC’s annual stewardship campaign, will help underwrite the cost of hiring extra instrumentalists for our special musical church services throughout the year. 2011-2012 Church Year
KUC Chamber Ensemble – This unique youth chamber orchestra plays for KUC services throughout the church year. This program is solely supported by special music sponsors and is not a part of the regular KUC music budget.
2012-2013 Church Year
Sunday, December 16 (tentative date) – Choral Music Sunday (Large Advent/Christmas choral work performed for worship by Chancel Choir, organ and chamber orchestra)
Sunday, December 23 (tentative date) – Lessons and Carols (Christmas carols performed for worship by Rejoice Singers, KUC Youth Choir, Adult Bell Choir, Chancel Choir, KUC Chamber Ensemble, organ, brass and congregation)
December 24 – Christmas Eve (Special preludes and anthems for worship provided by Chancel Choir, Apostle Alumni Choir, organ and the Kenilworth Brass Ensemble)
Sunday, February 3 (tentative date) - Gospel Sunday (Special gospel selections by Vernon Clark and the Heirs of Joy, KUC Youth Choir and Chancel Choir)
March 31 – Easter Sunday (Special preludes and anthems for worship provided by Chancel Choir, organ and the Kenilworth Brass Ensemble)
Sunday, May 5 - Choral Music Sunday (Large Masterwork with Chancel Choir and orchestra)
