I am delighted to report that on the recommendation of Dr. Evertsberg, the Board of Trustees unanimously voted last month to remove the “Interim” from Rev. Katie Snipes Lancaster’s title and welcome her as our permanent Associate Minister for Children, Youth and Families.
Katie joined us last November, just in time for the busy Advent season. She jumped right in with energy and enthusiasm and hasn’t stopped since! Katie’s passion for ministering to our congregation and nurturing our faith has truly enriched our spiritual life at KUC.
Please join me in congratulating Katie and thanking her for so generously sharing her gifts with us. We are indeed fortunate to have her, Jo and Bill ministering to us, guiding us and supporting us every day.
President of KUC Executive Board
From the beginning of my time at Kenilworth Union Church, I have experienced warmth and hospitality from you, the members. Worship is thoughtful. Music is powerfully prayerful. Children’s ministry sets a firm foundation for faith to grow and blossom. Youth ministry builds on that foundation, bridging the time between childhood and adulthood with formative conversation, service and safe space to wrestle with all that life brings. I am honored to be a part of the Kenilworth Union Church family, and to serve among you, listening as God calls to all of us in community.
