Adult Programs : Public Affairs
Kenilworth Union Church has a strong Public Affairs program designed to broaden the congregation’s awareness of current issues in our community and around the world, believing that in knowledge, there is power to make a difference.
In the past, speakers have included Senator (now President) Barack Obama, Senator Richard Durbin, Representative (now Senator) Mark Kirk, Michael Moskow (former President of the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago), Tammy Duckworth (former Director of Illinois Department of Veterans Affairs), former Vice President Dan Quayle, and David Vitale (then Chief Administrative Officer of Chicago Public Schools and now Chairman of the Chicago Board of Education).
